Providing Christ-Center care to those in need
Prayer Team
The Prayer Team is a ministry team that prays for individuals on Sunday mornings after each service.
First Responders
First Responders are front line care givers who respond weekly to the needs and prayer requests listed on Connection Cards completed by Sunday service attendees. First Responders need to have a heart for helping others, an attitude that is teachable and the ability to maintain confidentiality with individuals they are ministry to.
The purpose of the First Responder Care Minister is to provide contact and care to individuals who have an expressed need. They also help connect individuals to a small group and ministry opportunities available.
Care Team
One-on-one ministry to individuals and families in our church and community that face a life changing event: such as a death, illness, hospital stays, natural disaster, loss of a job. This ministry is led by Care Ministry teams that consist of a Team Leader, individuals available to prepare meals, individuals who do home visits, and individuals who offer support and prayer for the team.
The purpose of the Care Team is to provide comfort, care and support to families in crisis. Such as having a listening ear, providing meals and when resources are available providing physical support.
Care Ministry Small Group
In providing care, support and comfort to our church and community. PCC offers small groups designed to help those who are hurting in specific areas such as grief, divorce and post-abortion.
